Check out these beautiful wall quilts made by celebrity quilters for this month’s auction benefiting Alzheimer’s research. This Tuesday, bidding on these particular quilts starts at $150.00 and the auction will last for 10 days.
The Alzheimer’s Art Quilt Initiative (AAQI) also has a page where they are selling smaller wall quilts , made and donated by people like you and me, starting around $20. They use the funds they receive from selling and auctioning the donated mini quilts to raise awareness and fund research of Alzheimer’s.
I am hoping to find time soon in my crafty life to make and donate a quilt that fits the requirements of this program.
